The Red Square studio features a view of Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the square. A clean palette of white and gold introduces a touch of modernism while reminding viewers of the prize the players compete for. Soccer shapes accord the set with subtle Russian imagery that frames the view of Red Square.
While the International Broadcast Centre studio features a more playful and casual design with references the glory of the World Cup with gold accents and the flags of all 32 countries arranged in various display cases.
The set’s turf wall provides a whimsical background with an anchor desk that evoking the passion, spirit and glory of the World Cup.
